Search Engine Optimization

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of affecting the visibility of a web page to search engines. For that purpose, the extension SEO basics is used and integrated into the Bootstrap Package. It delivers:

• Configurable metadata for each page along with the author info. The last modification time of the page is also displayed in the meta. The metadata can be edited in the properties of the page in:
  "Web" > "List" > Right click on whatever page to start editing page property.
• A Backend Module  showing different colors according to the quality of the meta data in:
  "Web" > "Info" > "SEO Management"
• Handling of the canonical tag which is useful when a news article (for example) appears on multiple pages.
• An XML Sitemap available here for the current website.
